Graz - the capital of Styria and the second-largest city in Austria - is located in the southeast of Austria, with a long tradition of culture, science and a long tradition as seat of universities.
In 2003 Graz was the European Capital of Culture and is now part oft he UNESCO World Cultural Heritage because of its architecture. Graz's old town around the Schlossberg (with its Uhrturm, the landmark of the city) has for centuries created a cityscape characterized by different styles (gothic, baroque, renaissance, art nouveau and modernity) and is characterized by its unique roof landscape.
The best way to explore Graz is by foot, however the excellent public transport network in and around Graz allows you to be completely flexible.
The entire city area is very well connected. Please find all ticket options here: Ticket overview GRAZER LINIEN
